Terms of Service

1. Role of the platformLawyer review

Otomedik is a Türkiye-wide listing / discovery marketplace and, for rentals, a booking-request coordinator.

• We are not a party to vehicle sale contracts.
• We are not a party to rental contracts; an accepted request is not a payment taken on the platform or a paid, guaranteed reservation.
• We are not a party to repair jobs; the repair vertical is a directory plus messaging, with no job workflow or payments.
• There is no payment, escrow, or checkout (no iyzico/Stripe). Fees are settled off-platform between the user and the business.

Otomedik is not an agent, payment intermediary, or warranting seller. A lawyer should confirm this characterisation.

2. EligibilityLawyer review

You must be 18 or older to use the platform. Age is not technically enforced on the registration form; how this rule is applied needs lawyer review. Business accounts must be opened by people authorised to act for that business.

3. Accounts

Account types: individual, dealer, rental company, repair service. You register with email/password or Google. Some features stay unavailable until the profile is completed.

You are responsible for account security (password, Google session). False information, impersonation, or fake duplicate accounts are prohibited.

An administrator may disable or delete an account. There is no self-service deletion; requests follow the Privacy Policy.

4. Listings

Listings may be for sale or for rent. The lister is responsible for accuracy (price, mileage, damage report, photos, location). Otomedik is not obliged to pre-moderate listings and may remove misleading listings or restrict accounts.

Listing photos are hosted publicly. By publishing a listing you licence that content for display on the platform.

5. Vehicle salesLawyer review

A sale is between buyer and seller (individual or dealer). Otomedik does not collect the price, manage delivery, or act on inspections, title, or notary formalities. Parties resolve disputes between themselves. How consumer and defective-goods rules affect the platform needs lawyer review.

6. Vehicle rentalsLawyer review

Rental companies publish fleet and availability. An individual user picks dates and sends a booking request. The company may accept, decline, or let the request expire (about 48 hours, depending on server configuration).

Acceptance is not a paid reservation on Otomedik and does not by itself conclude the rental contract. Deposit, licence, age, and handover rules are the company’s. The platform may compute a quote; that is not a guaranteed tariff.

7. Repair and service providers

Repair services are found via directory profiles (specialties, staff, location, photos) and messaging. The platform does not run job orders, parts orders, or fee collection. Service fees are settled between the user and the shop.

8. Bookings

Bookings exist only for rental listings and require a signed-in individual account. There is no guest checkout. No separate passenger identity is stored; the renter is the logged-in user. Calendar conflicts and price follow server-side rules; the final rental terms remain between the company and the user.

9. User-generated content

Listing text, photos, profiles, staff info, messages, and reviews are your content. You must not publish illegal, defamatory, misleading content or content that infringes others’ rights. The platform may remove content for legal duty or abuse.

10. Messaging

Messages are visible only to the thread participants. Spam, fraud, threats, and off-platform payment scams are prohibited. Business accounts may enable auto-reply. Otomedik is not obliged to read messages routinely but may access them for a legal request or security.

11. Reviews

A review includes a rating and comment; the author’s profile name is published. Write honestly about your own experience. Fake or manipulated reviews are prohibited. Removal requests are assessed under law and these rules.

12. Prohibited activities

Including: fake listings or identity; stolen vehicles; unauthorised scraping; unauthorised system access; using someone else’s account; malware; discriminatory or illegal content; using the platform for fraud.

13. Fraud and misrepresentation

A verified badge does not mean Otomedik guarantees the vehicle or has reviewed supporting documents (there is no document-upload flow). Users must assess counterparties themselves. You may report suspicious behaviour.

14. Intellectual property

The Otomedik brand, interface, and platform code belong to Otomedik or its licensors. By uploading listing images and text you represent you have the right to publish them and licence display on the platform.

15. Platform limitations

The service is provided “as is”. Uninterrupted uptime, listing accuracy, or that a counterparty will perform are not guaranteed. Otomedik is not liable for outages of third parties such as Google, Firebase, or maps.

16. Suspension and termination

An account may be disabled or deleted for breach, legal risk, or security. You may also request deletion via the privacy contact channel.

17. Limitation of liabilityLawyer review

To the extent permitted by law, Otomedik is not liable for disputes between users over sale, rental, or repair, nor for indirect loss or data loss. Mandatory consumer rights remain. Any liability cap or waiver must be drafted by a lawyer; this paragraph is a placeholder.

18. Third-party services

Sign-in, storage, analytics, and maps rely on Google services. Those services have their own terms. The Privacy Policy describes transfers.

19. Changes to the service and these terms

Version 1.0. The effective date will be set at launch. If features change (for example payments in the future), these terms will be updated. New registrations accept the current version.

20. Governing lawLawyer review

These terms are drafted to be governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Competent courts and a service address must be written by a lawyer once the controller’s registered seat is known. No invented court or city venue is stated here.
